I spent most of my professional career in sales and marketing for a large engineering and scientific consulting firm. I built a strong network and was extremely successful in selling business. I am self-taught and live by the principle that everyone can learn to do business development if they want to. I believe that customer service and client value are the keys to successful sales efforts. I have worked with engineers, scientists, attorneys, and insurance personnel and have trained hundreds of individuals to develop their brands, increase their networks, and improve their business development skills.
Before launching my firm, I was the Vice President of Client Services for Exponent, and President and CEO of the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC). I serve on several private company boards of directors and am a member of the Executive Board of the Lyle School of Engineering at Southern Methodist University. I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer (CA).
