I’ve spent the majority of my career in sales and marketing for a leading engineering and scientific consulting firm, where I built a strong network and consistently delivered outstanding business results. As a self-taught professional, I firmly believe that anyone can learn to excel in business development with the right mindset and support. My approach centers on delivering client value and exceptional service—cornerstones of successful sales.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with engineers, scientists, attorneys, and insurance professionals, and have trained hundreds of individuals to strengthen their personal brands, expand their networks, and enhance their business development capabilities.
Prior to founding our firm, I served as Vice President of Client Services at Exponent and as President and CEO of the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC). I currently serve on several private company boards and am a adjunct professor at the Lyle School of Engineering at Southern Methodist University. I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and am a registered professional engineer in California.

With over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, I bring deep expertise in the energy, aviation, and commodity markets. I am a strategic negotiator with a proven ability to influence trading and logistics decisions, optimize supply chains, and maximize profitability. I collaborate with clients to enhance organizational agility and efficiency in volatile international energy markets. My work includes designing business processes that improve performance across operations. Additionally, I’ve developed training programs focused on commodity derivatives and energy supply chain fundamentals for trader education.
My career has been largely focused on refined products physical trading, including leadership roles at ExxonMobil where I headed both the international gasoline and distillate trading teams. I was responsible for cultivating long-term customer relationships across Latin America and have developed a strong command of the energy derivatives market, with a particular interest in risk management and hedging strategies.
As a logistics and supply chain professional, I have extensive global experience in the trading and distribution of petroleum products. At Southwest Airlines, I led the scheduling, planning, and trading operations for 29 airports along the U.S. eastern seaboard, managing over 80,000 gallons per day of jet fuel supply and capitalizing on market opportunities. At 7-Eleven Corporation, I oversaw bulk and rack supply of gasoline and diesel for 918 branded and unbranded stations across Canada, Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and the Mountain West, as well as 1,011 stations throughout Florida.
We believe that expertise alone isn’t what gets you hired. Success depends on more than just knowledge—it’s also about how you show up, communicate, and lead. We work with individuals and teams to identify and overcome the barriers that may be holding them back, helping them unlock their full potential and achieve lasting success.
